I can recall about 25 years ago the first time I encountered the stubborn denial of reality that we’re seeing run so rampant today. It was regarding Freemasonry and the fact the George Washington was perhaps the famous Mason in American history.

And yet the young woman I was arguing this point with absolutely and stubbornly refused to admit this, despite the fact that this is openly known. Yet she adamantly refused to accept this fact. She was of the view that the Masons are a Satanic group and she simply couldn’t - and wouldn’t - believe that George Washington was a member.

Now granted, Washington wasn’t some super-duper Mason - he rarely attended Lodge meetings but he was, in fact, a Mason.
