So, let me get this straight - Democrats are on pace to likely retake the House. Nancy Pelosi, the minority leader, and former Speaker of the House, would be in line to take the gavel again.

And yet the media wants to focus on the distinct minority of Democrats who think someone else should be speaker?

This is where the media wants to focus? The most powerful woman in the country should be replaced why exactly?

Even the story shows how flimsy all this is - it’s about generating opposition against those Democrats in vulnerable districts by GOPers. The Democrats want to win those seats, and will run “against her” but wont actually step up and oppose her leadership.

The media and Republicans but I repeat myself seem to have an inordinate interest in the makeup of the Democratics congressional leadership.

It’s…a little weird. I don’t quite see the same level of interest in the GOP leadership.
