I think a lot of conservative pundits hate Trump because he’s exposed that the right wing base really doesn’t care so much about free markets or even a strong military but just about resenting the other. In short, he’s exposed their ideology for what liberals have been saying the right wing movement has been about in this country for decades. Maybe some conservatives genuinely are disgusted by Trump but some of them I firmly believe loathe Trump because he’s proven what the left says about the right correct.
