IMO the best Stimulus plan would have been to suspend withholding Social Security Tax from everyone’s paycheck for 8-12 weeks or longer. Its a good chunk of change.

That, or just run the government off the huge chunk of borrowed cash and eliminate Federal withholdings altogether for a quarter or two.

Ya wanna stimulate the economy? That would do it. A helluva a lot faster than the $17 a week I’ll be getting as my cut of the trillion dollar “stimulus,” which I’m just not finding very stimulating.
