You don’t know what it was like in the bush of France in the sixties, man.

It’s not that I don’t get not wanting to go to Vietnam.

It’s that I can’t forgive anyone who was able not to go, and didn’t, who now acts as though they don’t know how goddamn lucky they were to be able to do that.
