Really don’t know what you’re going for here. Of course it is not true that denial only started after Gore, or that it even increased after Gore - only that Gore was a convenient person to encapsulate the notion of the humorless liberal wanting to take away the American lifestyle (and I lived through enough of the ‘Gore is a hypocrite for having a large house and flying’ nonsense to know this was a real thing).
