There are very few, if any, successful Right Wing women politicians whom one can describe as ‘smart’. Palin, they liked because she’s brimming with resentment and they wanted to fuck her reasonably attractive, in a generic sort of way.

Even well-educated wingnut women are most attractive to them when they abandon intellect and go for emotion - think Ann Coulter.

I remember when McCain picked her. She was recently a grandmother and was of course governor, and I remember the wingnuts I knew calling her a GILF. Limbaugh called her Governor Babe. TBH, while I don’t find Palin physically unattractive, I never thought OMG SO HOT and I’ve never felt that way about any politician even ones I find more attractive than Sarah because I’m voting for someone for fuck sake. I mean yeah I lust like any other man does but the last thing on my mind when I’m considering a woman’s political arguments is how she looks.
