heh I don’t think that’s why people buy collectible cars.

In general people invest in that kind of thing when they’re betting against the economy. I still have a silver bar and some gems that my grandfather bought for just those reasons (he was a bit of a nut).

They’re not even actually safe investments since the values tend to fluctuate wildly.

it’s exactly the reason the 6 or 7 people that I know buy collectible cars…and each is riding high on their investments, but they are smart, patient and think long term
