Why are you attached to the phrase ‘a good guy with a gun’? Don’t you think it’s a meaningless phrase? The NRA invented it and it just sucks, it’s an awful, propagandistic meme that means nothing in the end.

This guy sacrificed his life trying to save others. That’s admirable in spirit. Whether or not he had a gun, it’s admirable to want to try to save others.
