The vast majority of people choose to identify as their birth sex, but can be straight, gay, or bi.

If a person chooses to alter their assigned birth gender to confirm with their identity, they’re trans, but also can still be straight, gay, or bi.

This is starting to sound a lot like someone’s latte order at Starbuck’s.
