Yikes. This tweet and the following tweetstorm are not good for anyone’s blood pressure… The predictions for Europe and Britain’s economy have been adjusted, and (predictably) not for the better. For example this little nugget, “We now expect the UK’s public debt burden to reach 100% of GDP by 2018.” Even as a tax-and-spend liberal that gives me an instant headache.
