The other misogynistic aspect I see in this is people on the right all too willing to give Mrs. Palin the thumbs up in the hope it will enrich or empower them. I really hope she has advisors she trusts- and that they’re not just trying to get a meal ticket.

I think it’s an aspect of fame and/or power most of us don’t think about- how many people suck up to you and tell you they are your friends when all they really want to do is use you to further their own interests. These people follow fame and power. Shameless self-promoters- and they’ll work their magic to “help” their meal ticket.
