Why are we assuming Putin had something to do with this? Is there some evidence in the article (which I didn’t read)? He doesn’t need a bleeding crossbow. On the other hand, someone with a personal grudge (e.g. death by spoiled meat) might not have another weapon.

Please note, I am not defending Putin here, I am warning against jumping to conclusions — a slippery slope that leads to Fox News addiction and other calamities.)

I mean, he does have a track record of “disappearing” people.

For the record, I’m not confident this is his doing, but I wouldn’t discount the possibility.
