re: #305 WindUpBird

it’s a legitimate protest that ended up on a guy’s lawn. Yes it was loud, yes it was pissed off. Don’t dispute that at all. You want me to say they should hve stayed off his lawn? Sure! They shoulda stayed off his lawn.

But! Equating it with people who are waving signs advocating the murder of the president, it’s not the same. Trying to make them equivalent is ridiculous.

The way I see it, if I’m to parse this down, we have people who are very concerned that people ended up on the guy’s lawn. And they seem to believe that a protest with angry people who are pissed off at the games being played with mortages, with some lawn action going on, is JUST AS SIGNIFICANT as teapartiers being led by racists, waving racists signs, advocating violence, advocating bircherism.

Sorry, I’m not there with you.

Never said trespassing on private property and scaring the guy’s kids was equivalent to advocating the murder of the President.

Doesn’t make the behavior ANY LESS OUTRAGEOUS.
And your attempts to minimize it are - surprising, honestly.
