I think you’re missing the forest for the trees. This isn’t the normal, stupid, “Hurr hurr inbred Appalachia” jokes. Those are bad, sure, and there’s prejudice against people with Appalachian accents.

But this is different; this is part of White Supremacist rhetoric, it’s designed to dehumanize and demonize Jews, and now Muslim too, as The Other, cut off from normal humanity, debased, diseased, and degenerate. It’s a whole ‘nother order of bad here.

I dissagree. It is no different. It is just done by a different group. It is done for all the same reasons. It’s designed to dehumanize, demonize, and dismiss their point of view.
