I got a robocall from Pat Boone (!) today, extolling the virtues of Big Luther Strange. I thought I was safe since I don’t watch local TV, but they were tricksy. It was like that pile-up on the interstate with all the body parts, the one you know you shouldn’t look at but can’t help yourself, so I listened. Between the eye rolling, the jaw dropping, and the head shaking in disbelief, I’m going to need a day or two to recover.
