He really does seem to be biased against the prosecutors. In addition to generally just being an asshole to prosecutors, he did something yesterday that I thought was truly egregious and could have an impact. When prosecutors solicited testimony from a witness about how Manafort closely kept track of his finances, Judge Ellis quipped in front of the jury something to the effect of clearly Manafort did not pay that close attention to it or he would have caught on to Gates embezzling extra money for himself. Comments like that by a judge in front of the jury could bias them by making them more likely to find that Manafort was unaware of these accounts. Regardless, the evidence seems so overwhelming that I would still be surprised if Manafort is not found guilty. Hopefully the judge does not pull any shenanigans if that occurs.

You know the anti-prosecution bias is strong when even a right wing hack like Andrew Napolitano noted it on fox news (see link below).
