Thanks Charles. I’m pretty tired of that one too. And for the record, being Muslim does not necessarily make one evil, or even prone to support radicalism. I know some Muslim Iranian-Americans, for example, who will fly into a rage about the mullahs who are destroying their religion whenever given half a chance. I would tend to agree with Daniel Pipes, who says “radical Islam is the problem, moderate Islam is the solution.” Although I would modify that to “moderate Islam could be the solution.” Because moderate Islam these days is being outspent and outshouted to the point of near-invisibility.

That being the case, I don’t know why Obama keeps lying about the fact that he once was a Muslim, during his childhood. It’s slimy and evasive, I think. Tell the truth. Own your past. Make of it whatever you want.
