It’s not the first time he’s made some lunatic pronouncement like that. He does seem to have moments though when he accepts how backward Islam is, but can’t quite seem to make the next logical step..

Malaysia is aout 60% muslim, but the Chinese minority is responsible for pretty much everything that functions there. It’s not a very comforting thought that Malaysia is one of the few muslim countries that’s at least somewhat civilized, but still produced a leader (he was PM for over 20 years) who can come out with troofer type pronouncements.
