Yesterday was the Marine friend’s funeral.

Two Full-Bird Colonels folded his flag, and presented it to his widow. From what I understand, it is very rare for officers to do that for an enlisted man.

The Colonel who presented the flag cried as he gave it to her; took him two minutes to squeeze out the “grateful country” speech.

Was a lovely service.
