I really blame the Danish imams for their manufactured outrage on that one.

They understood the nuance that not everything that appears in Danish newspapers is approved or placed there by the government, but spread those images among people who have never known otherwise and reacted accordingly.

And they did brew up a perfect shitstorm on both left and right…one that indirectly resulted on me washing up onto these shores, even. I was defending the caricaturists’ right to be offensive on a rather liberal blogsite (the now defunct warblogging) and somebody commented “shouldn’t you be posting at LGF?”

So I showed up here (around 2007) and decided to stick around for a good argument.
