Who said we should ally with him? I’ve been reading the thread through and I didn’t see it. I think most agree Flake is being flakey and he is still a Republican.

But do we have to look at it all through the eyes of wingnuts salivating at the chance to get even crazier?

Everything is positive and negative. What Flake is doing is a negative for the Republican party and a positive for the Democratic party. Let’s use it instead of trying to turn it all into a negative.

How exactly do we use it in any way but what we’d all planned to do from the beginning, which is to find and support a Democrat to take his seat? It’s a positive in that the seat might now become a toss-up, but I’d say his remarks just now put the kibosh on his having some change of heart.
