Is that the one when the sender’s uncle has died intestate in a bizarre gardening accident and he wants your help to unlock his assets? After all, you might describe ED as a form of “intestacy”.

I recently got one from the ‘FBI’, revealing that they have discovered that I’m involved in a scam with some Nigerian guy, but they can get me out of trouble and get me the money if I cooperate with them.

Does this stuff ever actually work, or does it go on just because?
