What exactly is a doublestandardista? Google is of little to no help here. It really doesn’t provide me with any sort of guidance. Aren’t you in fact saying that Rush Limbaugh is popular because he panders to an audience of bigots by using thinly veiled race-baiting, inflammatory rhetoric and outright lies when it suits him, creating an illusion of someone who “dares to speak the truth”.

I’d put it more like this: he panders to an audience that feels marginalized and unrepresented in the face of a consistent double standard applied by liberal elites in government and the media. No doubt there are some gleeful racists in that audience, just like there are some gleeful racists on the other side…see the depictions of Condi Rice and Michael Steele during the Bush years (and the lack of condemnation of these excesses by the left).
