Nekama, you’re a old-timer like me, so you know damn well how many times we had those on the Left swear up and down that they didn’t get their marching orders from this prominent Lefty or that one, that they were “free-thinkers,” and the fact that they shared beliefs with those prominent Lefties simply meant that it was the only “reasonable” conclusion. And now I watch folks on the Right swear up and down that they don’t listen to Rush, watch Beck, or read Jones, but they all sure seem to have the talking points at the ready.

Maybe we were too hard on them then. Speaking from my own experience - your mileage may vary - one can come to similar conclusions as others without reading or listening to them.
