So one of the local parks puts up a big light display every year. Normally you drive through it, but this year (and maybe they’ve done it previously, I don’t know) they opened it up this weekend to pedestrians. We thought it would be fun, so we went.

They don’t allow cars at the park itself so they were talking about how they were running a free shuttle from the parking lots for one of the big tech firms down the street. Figured okay, well, we’ll do that, since it’s just a little too far to walk from home.

Hah. Hahahahahaha. HAHAHAHAHA.

Apparently the event sold out (and when I bought the tickets there were over 2k remaining SO) and the line for the shuttle was probably 40+ minutes long. We left, went and drove closer, parked, and walked in. It was enjoyable once we did that, at least.

Also there was a food truck selling cupcakes.
