Oh, and always build your rolodex. I guarantee your professional contacts are doing the same. Join LinkedIn if you haven’t already, and look up people at companies you’ve sold to…they’re easy as sin to find there. Make contact with them. Often, they list their personal email or phone number, so you have a way of contacting them, and you know their work history (knowledge is power). Social networking isn’t a passive exercise.
