I can appreciate the folks who are ready for the intellectual discussion of what went wrong and why and how to move forward.

I’m not there yet. I’m not sure when I will be. I think a lot of women and minorities in particular will take a while to get there, because of the direct threat this represents. It’s hard to be disconnected and above it all when you realize that half the country is okay with treating you as less than a person.
