The Hauser kid is back. So far, his mother is not in custody for some reason.

Part of the deal. Federal, state and local authorities put the word out last week that if she turned the kid over to the court, she wouldn’t face charges. Local authorities have now formally dropped their warrants; the Feds haven’t done so, but will as soon as the Federal court offices open this morning and a judge signs off.
