I heard The Kid refering to something as “gay” the other day. I didn’t know what to say.

Very common usage for kids. Has nothing to do witsilly, h homosexuals. As someone else already said, it means geeky, dorky, whatever. Don’t know howit started.

When you think about it, the original meaning of gay was something happy or silly. Who knows how it came to be related to homosexuals.
