A lot of the Rand philosophy is at odds with simple reality.

It’s great in a book and on a movie stage.

In the real world it all comes up against real people and real problems.

If we all hatched out as fully formed adults and could be fitted with an education chip and then sent out to fulfill our potential as individuals, then extreme Randian Libertarianism would start to make sense.
