re: #317 A Mom Anon
((((many many hugs)))))
I’m a survivor too. I like to say I’m more of a Thriver. Sometimes anyway. I’ll never understand our culture, I guess that’s a good thing. It’s a wonder any of us make it through life with happiness and a sense of wonder not shit all over. And yet we do. A testament to what we’re made of, I just wish there were other ways we find that out.
Right back to you. : ) {{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}} I don’t talk about it much because it’s painful, but I’m not the only one who has never “told”. It wasn’t even discussed in my family, and I was ashamed to tell my employer why I had to take a day off work. A lot of us would be considered “walking disasters” if some people knew the real truth about our lives. Sad, isn’t it?
