I’ll lay it out pretty plainly: Jeff Flake just undermined that entire speech that had folks feeling tingles in their naughty bits less than 3 hours ago. The guy he was supposedly “standing up to” is one he’s “willing to work with” to get tax cuts passed and can’t see being removed from office. So if you’re trying to see anything positive in today’s events aside from now Yertle will have to work to keep another seat next November, then you’re kidding yourself.
