And it (helter Skelter) really doesn’t get discussed in this light, imo. I’ve not seen the song discussed in this regard to musical/rock history, and I think it’s a shame because it really adds a new course of discussion on punk/grunge and where it started- and adding to the legend that is already The Beatles, Greatest Band Ever.

the notion is feasible…to me Helter Skelter is more layered and heavily engineered than punk music a few years later, which tended to be extemely cut down, simple, angry and political…as usual tho, who knows what the lyrics refer to
