Blue Cross/Blue Shield is not subsidized by taxpayers. The “co-ops” being proposed in this latest incarnation of the health care bill are explicitly funded by the government; they are shell corporations designed to hide the public option behind a facade of corporate ownership.

So, basically, you want no real competition with the private companies to try and control out of run health care costs ?
