One thing that bothers me about all this Lincoln stuff.

The Emancipation Proclamation dealt only with the Confederacy.
It did NOT outlaw slavery in the northern states.
Not until after the war was slavery outlawed in the Union.

He did it to break the back of the south and to win the war.

Slavery was mostly in the South, was it not?
