Listening to Obama’s D-Day speech. ugh. I think he is a cold terrible speaker. And his ascriptions are ludicrous. He ascribes the prosperity of Europe that was started by the Marshall Plan. I thought Gordon Brown actually gave a very moving speech. I get the impression, that some of these words have crossed Obama’s lips for the very first time. And of course, he had to say that the forces that gathered “were not perfect.”
