By this time in the 2010 elections only $6.6 million in “dark money” had been spent, by election day it had risen to $130 million.

In 2014 the number is already over $50 million and by election day the total will be ????

All of it untraceable back to the donors that gave it to the front groups with no reporting requirements. So not only can corporations finance campaigns with no limits on contributions, they can do it totally anonymously.
