To bring up the bad old CLinton days (there I go again!), perjury had a standard in which the lie had to be subtantive, or made a difference in the court case. In Clinton’s case, it was a testimony for a case that was never heard in court, so it wasn’t actually perjury in the strictest legal definition (From what I remember after all these years). I think the same would apply for Ivana Trump’s deposition. The divorce was settled out of court, so I guess it wound up having no bearing on the case.

‘Settled out of court’ does not mean nothing took place in a courtroom, nor that she wasn’t under oath in a deposition.
