Reading the two linked articles from downstairs on the Death of the GOP. Avik Roy seems to actually get it, and comprehends the point in time where Modern Conservatism went off the rails. It seems to me that a lot of other Conservatives still don’t get that Trump isn’t an aberration, but rather a culmination of the takeover of the GOP by White Nationalism.

I was pleasantly surprised to see someone who had made his bones in the conservative movement be so honest about the conservative movement and race.
