People like Glenn Beck are inciting this kind of violence with their ranting about armed militias and revolution, and Fox News is incredibly irresponsible for letting him do it. The Napolitano webcast was absolutely insane.

Fox News is becoming everything the left has always said they were.

To be frank, the recent outbreak of mass shooting spans the ideological, ethnic and interpersonal spectrum.

One was a cop-hating criminal (Oakland)
One was an embittered immigrant (Binghamton)
One was a Stormfront nutjob (Pittsburgh)
One had personal psychological issues (Washington State)
…etc.

They may all be influencing each other, but the outbreak seems to be independent of ideology. The message is simply: Whatever your psychosis, express it by massacring everyone in the vicinity!

What really feeds this is our country’s worship of fame, regardless of the reasons for the fame. I call this the “Ma, look, I’m on TV! syndrome” (as the loser is led away in handcuffs).
