OJ was a turning point in race relations.
His acquittal pissed off a lot of white people.
Also Katrina and Rodney King.
I think Obama was the straw that broke the camel’s back though.

To paraphrase Reggie Hammond in 48 Hrs: “You know what I am? I’m your worst fuckin’ nightmare, man. I’m a ni-CLANG! in the White House.”

I’m sure that’s how they hear it, at any rate.
