im getting more convinced that he’s convinced himself he cant be at all racist because he’s the one making the statement

I don’t want to call Bernie racist but he has an ugly indifference to it that is shocking to me knowing Bernie’s background. And one could argue that indifference to racism is almost as or as bad as the racism itself and I wouldn’t disagree with that. I just know this. He doesn’t get 21st century America. He’s stuck in the past.
