I can weigh in on McClinton teaching Lennon to play harp..
During his tour in Germany He met John and taught him a couple of licks on Harp..It became legendary and Delbert has said that no matter what is printed it acts like he taught John to play..This Legend lives on and Delbert giggles about it..
