Yes. The odds are ALWAYS in the house favor, ALWAYS. Most any other business is not that way, and many people manage to run them at a profit if not break even manner. Donny couldn’t even successfully run a business that pays+ for itself. But like real estate, casino’s are pretty much made for money laundering (surprise which businesses the Don is most caught up in).

I saw a YouTube video the other day which explained how the house wins at roulette. The wheel has an equal number of red and black numbers, and odd and even numbers, so theoretically the house would have no statistical advantage over the bettors (for a fair game). But the wheel has two additional green “cups”, marked with zeroes, which are considered neither even nor odd. Those two extra places for the ball to land tip the odds in the house’s favor, so over the long run, the house makes thousands each day on a roulette table.
