In the ’90s, I was listening to one of his shows. He had an audio recording of the sounds of Hell (yes, the biblical Hell) that was obtained by people who lowered a mic far down into one of the deepest holes on the surface of the earth.

He played the audio, quite serious about it being the bona fide sounds of Hell, and I immediately recognized those sounds as being from a video game I had played recently. Silly.
