Mediamatters posted an interview that they conducted with her in which she states her father was murdered by racists in 1965. It doesn’t go into the details of this but it just adds a whole other level of disgust to this whole affair. BTW, in the interview she comes across like a smart and sensitive person just like I assumed she would be. She has really been an A1 class act throughout this. In a more just world people like Shirley Sherrod would be given much more respect and clowns like Breitbert would be ignored.
