I had the same reaction when I saw KT’s post. But I noticed it was a) Foreign Policy and b) Rosa Brooks. While the former leans right, Ms. Brooks does not as a rule.

Interesting read. Not as cut and dried as KT implies by his brief remark, and the article itself doesn’t lay the blame wholly on those pesky liberals, but the point is there. (as are several worthwhile points to consider.)

Of course people mostly just look for buzzwords seeking something simple to be outraged about.
