Essentially, civil rights are dead. Thomas laid out the game, this is the poison pill to dismantle every single civil rights gain in the past century. And they’re going to do it in record time because nothing fucking matters and the Supreme Court is untouchable. And for anyone suggesting “packing the courts”, I very much ask “how” with the current set-up of Congress.

And for those hoping this pushes turnouts for Dems, I sincerely hope so. My twitter timeline is full of folks braying the opposite, using this as excuse to never vote for Dems again because once again, they alone are responsible for this and the GOP never has any agency. Dems did this through ‘lack of will’ and the only solution is to never vote Dem again or some goddamn shit, I don’t even fucking know anymore.
