Surely that’s a question that depends on definitions:

If ‘day’ is sunrise to sunset, then summer days will be longer than winter days at most latitudes.

If ‘day’ is noon to next noon then season makes no difference.

You are a bit wrong about “makes no difference.” The interval from one “high noon” to the next is slightly longer when Earth is closer to the Sun than when Earth is farther away. Altho if by “noon” you simply meant 12:00, then nevermind.
